History of ICS
The story of Immaculate Conception Seminary, Ahiaeke Ndume: how it began, the men who built it and how it grew into a home for generations of boys.
More than a school, a lifelong imprint
Immaculate Conception Seminary, Ahiaeke Ndume, Umuahia, was founded not only to teach but to form. Within its walls, boys were raised on early morning chapel bells, study, manual labour, discipline and an unconditional brotherhood.
That formation now reaches into the priesthood and the episcopacy, the courts, hospitals, classrooms and boardrooms. Wherever an Ahiaeke man is called, he carries the same moral compass and the same loyalty to his brothers.
“Formata in Disciplina, Uniti in Aeternum.”
